The Power of Worship

It was a YWAM conference in Melbourne, Australia. The speakers were world class (Loren Cunningham, founder of YWAM and Jackie Pullinger). The worship was absolutely off the charts. The youthful energy in the room was palpable.

I went in to worship keyed but not overly expectant. I'd been invited to paint but didn't really know what to expect. From the very first brushstroke, this painting took its own path! Every stroke went on correctly from the very first. There was no over-painting, no touching up, not a stroke out-of-place! It flowed better than any painting that I've ever done either before or since! Months later I saw a vision of me painting it with an angel either side. That's why it flowed soooo well!

It represents the power of the Lion of Judah released through worship and in particular, through the drums.
