When I first started painting prophetically, I said to God that I wouldn’t paint lions and eagles because they are so ubiquitous in Christendom. Ultimately, He told me not to disparage His iconography. Those icons are metaphors for elements of Christianity. The eagle usually means aspects of the Holy Spirit which is why this one is purple. Its colouring is supernatural. It is up close and personal, like the Holy Spirit, able to soar and able to see long distances.
